Captura Search is retained to conduct this Exclusive search to identify a top 10% candidate for this Sales Director, EMEA role. We're looking for the highest calibre sales player coach for our client. They are an award winning US and London based business seeking an entrepreneurial senior sales manager. 

Throughout EMEA. our client has already established an impressive Tier 1 and Tier 2 marquee client list. This footprint has been gained mainly through our client selling remotely from their NY HQ, and their Chicago and Boston offices as well. In the USA Captura's client is established as 'the' leading specialist software provider for their front, middle and back office systems for the financial markets. 

 

Their clients include an impressive array of financial institutions globally (Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Custodians, Private Banks, Wealth Managers, Insurance and Corporates). They knock the competition aside when competing at RFP stage, and are frequently displacing their competitors older legacy systems because their solutions are streets ahead. Due to the significant growth prospects across EMEA our client is investing heavily by adding this Sales Director in EMEA (and other hires for the region). You'll join a London office comprising of client services, account management and inside sales professionals. Therefore, you will have a small to team manage from the start, but, we are not looking for a sales manager to adminstrate, we are looking for an aggressive sales hunter with a proven track record of selling to and signing new logo clients.... not a sales farmer used to upselling.

Our client has a stellar management team supported by a board with proven expertise in steering Financial Technology firms to realise their potential. You will be selling a suite of industry leading high quality solutions, have the autonomy to develop/implement your own sales strategy, and ensure local market requirements / enhancements are fed back into the product development group to further enhance the products to meet EMEA market needs. This is a key strategic hire 

Appropriate senior sales professionals will bring:

  • proven new logo sales track record in sales...

  • ...Experience in one of the following areas would be preferred:

    • FINTECH VENDOR: Selling FinTech SaaS solutions is preferred (Examples: Temenos / Odyssey, State Street Global Exchange (Princeton Financial Systems). Broadridge Systems, Eagle Investment Systems, SS&C, SS&C Advent Software, Thomson Reuters Beta, Linedata ICON, Objectway Financial's eXimius, FIS Sungard Asset Management, Simcorp, Factset's Bi-SAM, StatPro, IHS MarkIT (FRTB, Risk Analytics, MarkitServ, Cadis / EDM, Thinkfolio etc), Bloomberg (AIM, Polarlake), MSCI, Milestone Group, DTCC Omgeo, Misys FusionInvest, Ansarada, Intralinks, Merrill DataSite, Ipreo, BlackRock's eFront, Dion Global Solutions, Multifonds, SS&C's EZE Software Tradar and others.

    • SELL SIDE: A sales professional with a C-Level network who has an outstanding track record in selling. Perhaps you're looking to make the leap in to a FinTech, or someone with experience selling technology and services from within the sell side

    • BUY SIDE: A sales professional with a C-Level network who has an outstanding track record in selling. Perhaps you're looking to make the leap in to a FinTech, or someone with experience selling technology and services from within the buy side

  •  

  • The ability to articulate and sell a business benefit proposition clearly, with gravitas, commanding respect

  • Devise and drive a commercial strategy and execution plan to drive adoption amongst prospects (including Asset Managers and Insurance firms)

  • Strong sales process management skills, and entrepreneurial in outlook as you'll play a key role in helping expand the business in the EMEA region.

  • Experience of successfully creating, nurturing and closing consultative sales deals by navigating the sales process strategically
