Captura Search has been engaged to identify a talented Inside Sales / SDR Manager. Someone with experience of developing high quality sales pipelines for our client. This fast growing, successful international market leader offers best-in-class SaaS solutions to corporate B2B clients. They already have some impressive client references and are now looking to expand even further. The new incumbent will need to demonstrate at least three years’ experience working in a corporate B2B environment, and have led a team during that time.
This global inside sales team of 25 (based in the USA, EU and APAC) works closely with Marketing, Field Sales and Partners to identify and engage potential prospects, understanding their requirements, increase their understanding of our clients services and solutions. Your team will then follow up to schedule meetings and guide qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
As the leader for the Inside Sales team you’ll play a key role in achieving our clients ambitious customer acquisition and revenue objectives.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Manage the performance and development of a team of Inside Sales representatives.
- Achieve quarterly team and personal quota of qualified sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing in the organization of events, webinars and other lead generation activities.
- Understand customer or prospect needs and requirements.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand the database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Educate prospects and customers about services and SaaS solutions.
- Promptly manage enquiries from the marketing or campaigns company website.
- Guide qualified tier one opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Provide timely and accurate reports concerning activities, calls, lead pipeline and generated sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Knowledge of SaaS solutions and services is key
- A minimum of three to four years’ experience working in a corporate B2B environment.
- A minimum of two years’ experience successfully managing an SDR team to target.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Good research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, focused, driven to achieve goals with strong objection handling abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft suite (in particular Excel).
