Captura Search has already successfully partnered with this NY based FinTech (offering Fund Administration solutions and services) to hire key members of their US team.
As they expand the breadth of their data & analytics offering they are now looking to hire one or two Data Analysts who are experts in Excel Power Pivot. In this position you will partner with various team members to understand client needs and identify how their solutions can meet those needs. You'll play a key role in helping the design and implementation of creating efficiencies and standardization in their use of Excel Power Pivot based reporting. This is connected to a Qlik Infrastructure. As the Excel Power Pivot Data Analyst you'll collaborate with Business Analysts and key team members to understand the business problem, and your work will be incredibly important to help solve challenges identified. You'll need to be able to develop a strategy to identify the best approach, work on definition of requirements and then also work with the development team to test and deliver the solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Excel power Pivot Data Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Create, implement and maintain data file structures
- Document procedures to agreed standards
- Deliver reporting in response to client requests
- Refine and automate repeatable processes, track issues and document shifts
- Assist analysts with complex query and schema refining
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TECHNICAL ABILITIES
- Excellent knowledge of Excel Power Pivot, Slicer functionality and DAX calculation are essential

Ideally 3 to 5 years of advanced to expert with Microsoft Excel work.
- Expertise in combining and analysis of data from multiple sources, and then generation of reports and graphical analysis for executives to consume
- Knowledge of Accounting is beneficial but not required
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and Data normalization is beneficial but not required
- Excellent technical orientation & analytical skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Able to interface with all levels with clients
- Demonstrable attention to detail with reliable time management, follow through skills.
